1. General Policy
Because our items are perishable food products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for “change of mind,” opened packages, or unused items. This is standard for frozen/perishable seafood to comply with food safety regulations.
2. What We Cover (Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders)
We guarantee freshness upon arrival. If your order arrives:
- Damaged (e.g., broken packaging causing thaw/refreeze)
- Defective (e.g., quality issue like off smell/taste upon proper thawing)
- Incorrect (wrong item or quantity shipped)
We will make it right. Eligible claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery (or as soon as possible upon inspection) to allow quick resolution.
3. How to File a Claim
- Contact us immediately at sales@buykingcrablegs.shop with “Returns/Refund Claim” in the subject line.
- Include your order number, photos of the issue (packaging, product condition, any thaw evidence), and delivery details.
- Do not discard the product until we confirm resolution.
We review claims quickly (usually within 1 business day).
4. Resolution Options
For verified claims, we offer (at our discretion):
- Full refund (including original shipping fees) to your original payment method.
- Replacement shipment at no extra cost (including expedited if available).
- Store credit for future purchases.
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval.
5. Non-Returnable Items & Exclusions
- All perishable seafood products (king crab legs, snow crab, bundles, etc.) once delivered and accepted.
- Orders not reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Issues caused by customer storage/mishandling after receipt (e.g., improper thawing).
- Gift cards, digital items (if any), or final sale promotions.
6. Shipping & Delivery Issues
If a package is lost, stolen, or significantly delayed, contact us with tracking info. We work with carriers to resolve and may issue a refund or reship.
